BBQ King @ Icon City (Bukit Mertajam)

Nowadays in Penang there's so much BBQ and steamboat restaurant. Some are really good and some are just mehhh... Those that're tasty and fresh people won't mind paying for the expensive rate but those that're low quality, they have the guts to charge high prices.

So recently I came across this place in Icon City @ Bukit Mertajam, the price is reasonable. I remembered paying only RM46+ on public holiday and the seafood they offer there is fresh and surely worth what you've paid.

This is the price list for the restaurant. Ain't expensive and it's worth your money. I'll show you why.

As you can see, the ingredients they serve are all fresh and the meats and seafood used for BBQ are well marinated. They even have a section where the sushi are prepared on the spot and just outside the restaurant they have BBQ chicken wings. Too bad I didn't get to take a picture of the sushi station and the BBQ chicken wings station.

At a certain time they serve fresh salmon. 4 pieces per person but it's refillable until they finishes slicing up those few salmons.

Oh yeah and they have a station where all the steamboat ingredients are and another station where the side dishes like fried rice, steamed clams, fried fish etc. Side dishes varies from day to day.

Needless to say, the prawns are fresh and the size well most of them are big. 

Side order of Bibimbap :) if you're not sure what bibimbap is, its a signature korean meal where the rice and egg are in the middle and it literally meant mixed rice. So it depends on whats the side dish for the bibimbap because every restaurant use different side dishes for their bibimbap. But its a must to mix everything together and add korean chili sauce into it.

Last but not least the dessert, they serve coconut ice cream and green tea ice cream, nevertheless they do serve some chinese dessert, but I guess for the dessert it might be different every day as well except for the ice creams cause it's from the machine.

Strongly recommended for those who likes "eat all you can" style.
The ratings will definitely be 9/10. If you're heading there it's better to make a reservation to avoid getting stuck in the queue.
