Christmas in London

London, London, London, definitely is my favorite city in UK or better yet Europe. There's so little time yet so much to see especially during festive season which I did went there on 2015 Christmas for more than a week.

I've been to London more than a dozen times yet I still couldn't get enough of it and wish to go back there again. So, I went there during Xmas and lucky me, I get to experienced Winter Wonderland in London. Unlike the fun fair we have in Malaysia, the one in London is huge and it's located in Hyde Park (very near to Oxford).

I won't post anything on the original London Eye, London Bridge and Big Ben as everyone already knew about those landmarks.

As you can see, that's the entrance to winter wonderland. What I heard from the locals there was that the entrance is designed differently every year. How lucky for those that get to see it every year. It wasn't that cold on that day so the smoke that comes out from my mouth is actually smoke from cigarettes. :) Yup, I do smoke...

A slightly smaller London Eye in the Winter Wonderland. There were a lot of games and rides in the park so we decided to try out the roller coaster which led to my next photo. Super embarrassing..

I thought my face was funny until I really took a look and I saw the face of the lady. That made my day. Everyone literally burst out laughing in front of her. She can't take it anymore and laughed it out loud. Seriously LOL.

A lot to see and eat in the Xmas park but unfortunately I was too engrossed with the atmosphere. Everyone seems so happy and I just didn't wanna distract them by constantly taking pictures of everything. Hmmm, I'm just making up excuses I think.. HAHA..

Now moving on to lunch, walking distance from Winter Wonderland to this restaurant called Gold Mine. One of the famous Chinese restaurant located at Bayswater. It can get really crowded if you are to go after 1pm and it'll get more crowded during dinner time.

If you're thinking of going to this restaurant, order the Peking duck as your appetizer. Their roasted duck, spinach in egg sauce and steamed egg ( 3 kinds of egg are in there, chicken, duck and century egg). These 3 dishes are highly recommended. You won't be disappointed. Trust me :) I'm a foodie :P

After a heavy lunch, time to take a walk around and get on the subway :) Just being my vain self...

Next, Chinatown !! So, after walking around and shopping in Primark we decided to head to Chinatown. Its always populous and I just don't know why. Visited the casino over there. Not bad I must say but compared to the one in Singapore, the one in Marina Bay Sands is way bigger in size and with more class.

If you're planning to shop for clothes, go to Primark. Trust me it'll burn a hole in your pocket. So much of choices there and it's so CHEAP !!! There's two nearby each other, one at Oxford and another at Tottenham Court Road. Don't go to the one in Oxford, chances are there are no more sizes. Not much tourist knows of the existence of Primark at Tottenham Court Road so just head there.

Last but not least, dinner at Burger and Lobster. 20 pounds for a bowl of salad, fries and a big lobster. Totally worth your money. Lobster Roll is on the menu as well but it doesn't taste as good as the steamed lobster. The fragrant of the lobster...yummy...make my mouth water every single time I thought of it. Two ways of cooking your lobster : Grilled or Steamed : so pick your favorite style of having your lobster. Best to go with beers. #JustSaying #YOLO #EnjoyWhileYouStillCan

End of my London trip... Tune in for my next post, will probably talk about hotels or more travels :)
